Terms of Service

By accessing or using the SabiMentors platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Sabimentors Technologies Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

To use the platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if between 13 and 17
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Not be located in a jurisdiction where use of the platform is prohibited
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at security@sabimentors.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others. Each user must register individually.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited activities include:

• Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Engaging in harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct
• Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
• Scraping, crawling, or harvesting user data without permission
• Attempting to bypass security measures or access restricted areas
• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Using the platform for any illegal activity

If you publish courses or offer mentorship services on the platform, you additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of your qualifications and offerings
• Deliver content that is original or properly licensed
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain high-quality content that is not misleading or defamatory
• Comply with all applicable tax and reporting obligations
• Not solicit students off-platform to avoid transaction fees

Our IP: The SabiMentors name, logo, platform design, and brand assets are owned by Sabimentors Technologies Ltd. You may not use them without prior written permission.

Your IP: You retain ownership of content you create and submit. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.

Student IP: Course materials are for personal use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share purchased content without the mentor's express permission.

All transactions are processed by Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to the applicable payment processor's terms.

• Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or other supported currencies
• Mentor payouts follow the schedule outlined in the Mentor Agreement
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are your responsibility

Our refund policy is detailed in the Refund Policy. In summary:

• Digital products may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if less than 30% of content has been accessed
• Disputes are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Fraudulent refund claims may result in account suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Inactivity exceeding 24 months

Upon termination, your access to courses and platform features will cease. You may request data export within 30 days of termination.

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation first, then by mediation, and finally by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
